Electrical Journeyman / Lead Solar Installer

Location: Kalida, OH

Superior Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman / Lead Solar Installer to lead the installation and service of residential and commercial solar PV systems. This role combines hands-on electrical work with field leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead installation of solar PV systems including conduit, wiring, inverters, grounding, and equipment mounting
• Interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and project plans
• Oversee daily jobsite activities and guide installers and apprentices
• Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Support service work, diagnostics, and corrective repairs
• Coordinate materials, tools, and field logistics with project management
• Ensure all work meets NEC, local code, and safety requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Ohio or reciprocal)
• 3+ years electrical experience; solar experience preferred
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
• Ability to read plans, manage crews, and communicate clearly
• Valid driver’s license
