“Two main reasons we got the solar system – to provide a backup source of electricity if the grid should go down and to reduce our CO2 contribution to climate change. It is working as we expected. We would do it again. If we were to do it again, we might consider more panels if there was a suitable location for them, and hope for continued improvements in battery technology.”
