Superior Energy Solutions was founded in 2009 by Daniel Klear after 30+ years as an industrial engineer.
Dan was a pioneer of solar energy in Northwest Ohio by installing panels on his own home in 1982. His vision for the business was driven by the desire to help his friends and neighbors experience the same benefits of going solar that he was.
Dan’s goal was to provide homeowners, farmers, and business owners with the correct system to meet their needs and he accomplished that by developing an honest relationship with every customer.
In February 2023, Superior Energy Solutions was purchased by Neil Recker, Drew Stechschulte, and Eric Kahle from Kalida, OH and we continue to operate out of our Ottawa, OH office. With Dan Klear still an integral part of Superior Energy Solutions today in sales and service, we strive to be Ohio’s leading solar provider with the intention to begin assisting customers in neighboring states in 2024.
